Wildwood Learning Center
Our Vision & Mission
Our mission at Wildwood Learning Center is to inspire and empower students through a nature-centric, project-based learning approach that nurtures community engagement, fosters environmental stewardship, and equips learners with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in a rapidly changing world. We are committed to creating an inclusive and dynamic educational environment where every child can explore, discover, and grow academically and personally.

At the heart of Wildwood Learning Center lies a set of core values: community, nature, engagement, and project-based learning. The school believes that education should be a collaborative effort involving not only teachers and students, but also families and the wider community. By immersing children in natural settings, Wildwood aims to instill a sense of environmental responsibility and a lifelong love for learning. The project-based learning model encourages students to take ownership of their education, fostering creativity, independence, and resilience.

Classes
K-2nd Grades
Monday - Thursday 9-2
We maintain a small class size of just 8 students to ensure instruction and support for each individual. Our certified teachers utilize a project-based teaching approach, encouraging students to learn collaboratively while exploring their own interests beyond the curriculum. We focus on fostering critical thinking, collaboration, research skills, and peer presentations. With a curriculum inspired by nature, exploring our environment will be a primary focus, and we will make the most of our outdoor classroom whenever weather allows.
